Egypt State Information Service (ESIS) reports about President El Sisi’s visit to USA.
For the sixth time in a row, President Abdel Fatah El Sisi participates in the annual meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations (GAUN ) held in New York, USA.
Those meetings become a high profile forum to discuss all worlds’ issues and find solutions to political, economic and environmental problems.
The ESIS report says that President’s El Sisi visit to New York broke a record of number and importance of meetings held there.
He announced Egypt’s opinion towards various internal, regional and African issues.
President El Sisi held 19 bilateral summits, 8 of those meetings were between European leaders.
He also met three leaders of USA, UK and France; all are permanent members of the UN Security Council.
He held a tripartite Arab summit with King of Jordan and President of Iraq.
An African summit was held between President El Sisi and leaders of Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya.
Those meetings dealt with important issues related to Egypt and her vital interests.
President El Sis addressed the 74th round of the UNGA.
His speech received more attention for addressing the hot issues in the Middle East and Africa.
He participated in a conference about” the Comprehensive Health Care” which is an important meeting.
It is worth to mention that Egypt has carried out a successful program to eradicate Hepatitis C virus.
Many countries across the world sought to quotes that pioneer experiment.
Over his state visit to the USA, President El Sisi attended “Sustainable Development” summit held in the main headquarter of the UN in New York.
He revised Egypt’s efforts to achieve sustainable development to all of her citizens.
President Al Sisi met also with UN General Secretary, Director of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and Chief Executive of the World Bank.
He discussed ways of cooperation of those international bodies and Egypt.
During his visit to the USA, President El Sisi met heads and members of some influential organizations such as the US Chamber of Commerce and Business Council for International Understanding along with thinkers of centers of research.
ESIS report stresses that meetings of President El Sisi concentrated on achieving interests of Egypt and discussing the regional and African issues.
He warned of Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam on the Blue Nile and the negative fall outs of that dam on the historic quota of water of the Nile.
He enticed the international community to urge all parties to cooperate to answer needs of all parties concerned with that dam.
He declared a decisive stance- that running of the Ethiopian dam won’t occur by imposing de facto.
The economic file and supporting efforts of development in Egypt were among the issued discussed by President El Sisi and leaders of the world.
The African issues were a major part of meetings held by President El Sisi in New York as Egypt chairs the current round of the African Union (AU).
He also discussed the internal conflicts in Libya, Syria and how to restore stability to the Middle East area along with the Palestinian issue.
He called the international community to find a fair and just solution for that issue which caused instability in the region.
