President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with a number of leaders of the armed forces, civil police and various security agencies at the headquarters of the strategic command in the New Administrative Capital.
The official spokesman for the presidency stated that the meeting discussed the developments of the current situation on the regional and international arenas and their repercussions on Egyptian national security, and reviewed the efforts made by the armed forces, civil police and security agencies to protect the borders of the Egyptian state and its internal front against various threats in all strategic directions in light of the events raging in the region.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman, added that the president stressed that Egypt's possession of the ability and strength guarantees its preservation of the security and safety of its people's capabilities.
The president also stressed the need to maximize the capabilities of all state institutions and agencies, emphasizing the importance of the role played by the armed forces and civil police in preserving the homeland, believing in the sacred tasks entrusted to them to protect Egypt and its great people, no matter the sacrifices it costs them.
