Pope Francies urged the whole world leaders who participate in the virtual world climate summit hosted by the US on Thursday.
He asked them to ensure the world in the "Post-Pandemic" era is better saying, “And our concern is to see that the environment is cleaner, more pure and preserved.”
In addition, he indicated that the COVID-19 crisis gave the world a new chance to think of a better world, and to unite together to compete against the pandemic.
Finally, he said: “I wish you success in this beautiful decision to meet, walk together going forward, and I am with you all the way.”
In the same context, Pope Francis has sent a message to the world on the occasion of Earth Day.
He asserted that the Earth is a brink away total destruction, and all people need to unite for saving the Earth and contributing to rescuing nature repeating that "It is time to act."
