On Thursday, Pope Francis of the Vatican gifted pope of Alexandria and the patriarch of the See of St. Mark part of St. Catherine of Alexandria's remains, along with a collection of books.

Both Christian religious figures had a meeting, this morning, and both delegations exchanged feelings of respect, unity, and brotherhood.

In the same context, the Vatican released a book to mark the 50th year anniversary of the relationship between the Vatican and the Coptic Church.

The book was entitled The Catholic Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church: 50th Anniversary of the Meeting between Pope Paul VI and Pope Shenouda III (1973-2023).

The book also marked the visit of Pope Tawadros II’s three-day visit to the Vatican, marking.
