The United States (US) Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is set to visit Israel on Monday and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a day later to discuss the two countries' peace deal.
Many key issues top Pompeo's agenda during his tour including, the security challenges posed by Iran and China in the region.
Israel and the UAE announced this month that they would normalize diplomatic ties and forge a broad new relationship.
A joint statement was issued by the United States of America, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates, stating that the agreement provides for “the conduct of full bilateral relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.”
