A recent poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute revealed that a third of the Israeli population expects a civil war to break out.
According to the "I24" website, the results of the survey showed that 55% of the population believe that the chances of a civil war are low, but about a third still expect it to happen.
There was also a significant increase in the assessment of the strength of tension between the religious and the secular, by 18% now compared to 6% last October.
Regarding the reform of the judicial system, 43% believe that the reform is not good, compared to 31% who believe that it is good.
The institute, which conducted the poll, says that the data show a deep division in Israeli public opinion, as the participants in the protest differ from the non-participants in their locations and their social and demographic backgrounds.
According to the institute, such a situation, of overlapping divisions, is very dangerous for stability in Israel.
