The results of a recent public opinion poll in Germany showed that about two-thirds of the country's population opposes the supply of German warplanes to Ukraine.
The results of the poll conducted by Infratest dimap on request by ARD channel indicate that 64% of those polled oppose aircraft supplies, while 28% support it, and the other 8% did not specify their position.
It is noteworthy that the percentage of supporters of aircraft supplies to Ukraine increased by 5% compared to last February, while the percentage of opponents of supplies remained unchanged.
According to the results of the poll, the largest division on supplying Ukraine with aircraft is observed among the supporters of the Green Party, with 43% supporting it and 48% opposing it.
Regarding military support to Ukraine in general, 43% consider it appropriate, while 37% consider it excessive and 14% insufficient.
The poll was conducted on May 30 and 31, and 1,302 German citizens participated in it.
