Polish Prime Minister (PM) Mateusz Morawiecki has suggested that the European Union (EU) completely halt trade with Russia.
"I hope that there will be a new awakening for European leaders and that they will be able, at the next meeting of the European Council, to adopt a new package of sanctions. Poland proposes to add a trade embargo to this package of sanctions as soon as possible," the Polish Prime Minister said in a statement on Saturday.
Moravitsky pointed out the need to besiege Russia economically by closing the ports and imposing a ban on the entry of Russian ships flying the Russian flag with Russian goods to the ports, as well as banning trade by land.
