Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szyna announced on Wednesday that the Israeli ambassador to Warsaw, Jacob Livne, had been summoned to the ministry after a Polish volunteer was killed in an Israeli raid in the Gaza Strip.
"I have invited the Israeli Ambassador. I want to talk to the Ambassador about the new situation in Polish-Israeli relations, as well as about the moral, political and financial responsibility for the recent incident in the Gaza Strip," Szyna told the Polish News Agency.
According to the news agency, Livne is scheduled to be summoned to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, April 5.
