Palestinian Minister of Justice (PMJ)  Muhammad Al-Shalaldeh said today, Saturday, that the advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ); will be legal documentation for the Palestinian people, a defeat for the occupying power, and it will return the Palestinian cause to its roots.

The Palestinian minister considered the opinion the biggest exposure of Zionism since the first conference in Basel, Switzerland in 1897.

Al-Shalaldeh stressed - in a press statement - the importance of the advisory opinion issued by ICJ, as it represents an argument and reference for resolving the problems of the Palestinian issue, and through the United Nations, decisions issued by it can be implemented.

He added that the United Nations (UN) vote in favour of a legal advisory opinion on the nature of occupation from the ICJ was a peaceful diplomatic, legal and judicial battle waged by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on behalf of the Palestinian people.
