PM Leaves for Dakar to Partake in 2nd “Financing Summit for Africa's Infrastructure Development"

Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly left for the Senegalese capital, Dakar, to participate, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the 2nd session of the “Financing Summit for Africa's Infrastructure Development", which will be hosted by Senegal on February 2 and 3.

Madbouly is accompained by a high-level official delegation, which includes ministers of electricity, housing, and transport, and a number of representatives of major Egyptian companies working in the field of infrastructure.

On his part, Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad, stressed the importance of the Egyptian participation in this summit, which focuses mainly on ways to develop infrastructure in the African continent, which comes is in line with the directions and policies of Egypt's keenness to enhance development efforts in the brown continent.

Moreover, the spokesman affirmed that this summit will also be an important occasion to enhance the Egyptian private sector's apportunities to participate in infrastructure projects in Africa, and shedlight on available investment opportunities in our country before the international business community, especially in light of the participation of a large number of representatives of development banks and international financing institutions. 

In addition, Saad added that Madbouly is scheduled to deliver Egypt's speech on behalf of President Al-Sisi, and he will also hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit, in which a number of heads of state and government will participate.
