PM Inspects Development Projects in Sharm El-Sheikh

Egypt's Prime Minister (PM) Moustafa Madbouly arrived, a short while ago, in Sharm El-Sheikh, accompanied by a number of ministers and officials.

Upon his arrival, the PM inspected the development and expansion works of Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport.

Moreover, Madbouly is set to inspect the development projects, that are being implemented in the city, as part of the ongoing preparations ahead of the 27th session of the conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), scheduled for next November.

In addition, Madbouly will also participate in the inaugural session of the Islamic Development Bank Group 2022 annual meetings, which will be held, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in Sharm El-Sheikh, during the period between June 1 and 4, 2022.

The event will be held, under the slogan “After recovering from the pandemic: resilience and sustainability.”

On Wednesday, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, to review the results of the recent visit of the Madbouly-led delegation to the UAE and his participation in a tripartite meeting including Jordan, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi .

During the meeting, Sisi and Madbouly discussed the importance of the three-way cooperation with Jordan and the UAE and the launching of the Partnership Initiative for Sustainable Economic Development which manifests the hoped-for goal of achieving Arab economic integration.
