PM Inspectes IDSC Pavilion at 55th of CIBF

The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) of the Egyptian Cabinet is participating in the 55th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF). 

The fair was inaugurated by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly on Wednesday at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center in the Fifth Settlement. The fair is open to the public from Thursday, 25 January, until 6 February, and is being held under the theme "Creating Knowledge... Preserving the Word".

During his visit to the IDSC's pavilion, the Prime Minister was briefed by Mr. Osama El-Gohary, Assistant to the Prime Minister and Head of the Information Centre, about the Center's activities and efforts.

El-Gohary highlighted the Center's publications that contribute to the decision-making process and its role in providing necessary information and studies to support government decisions. He also stressed the importance of officials obtaining timely information and analysis.

The Prime Minister also attended the premiere of a short documentary produced by the Information Center, which showcased the Center's move to its new location in the government district of the New Administrative Capital.

The 55th edition of the CIBF spans over an area of 80,000 square meters and features over 550 events, 5,250 exhibitors, and Norway as the distinguished guest country.
