Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli held on Saturday a meeting with the governors nationwide at the operations room of Information and Decision Support Center via video conference to follow up the availability of petroleum products and application of ride fares.
Madbouli stressed the importance of intensifying traffic campaigns and presence of heads of districts and cities to make sure that the oil products are available, particularly gas cylinders.
Madbouli said he contacted number of governors, who asserted that they finished the new transport fares in their governorates, adding that the increase in fares would be between 10 and 20 percent.
The meeting was attended by Local Development Minister Mahmoud Sha'arawi and cabinet officials.
