Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree declaring Saturday, January 25th, 2025, as an official paid holiday.
The holiday applies to employees across a range of sectors, including ministries, government institutions, public authorities, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
Additionally, the day off will also extend to those working in the private sector.
Examinations, if scheduled, will continue as planned by the relevant authorities.
This holiday is in celebration of the January 25th Revolution and Police Day.
