Dr. Hala Al-Said, Minister of Planning, expected that the Egyptian economy would record a growth rate this year of 5%, stressing that this growth is real and reflects the level of production and employment in the country in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, communications and the Suez Canal.
The Minister of Planning said, during the inauguration of Field Marshal Fouad Abu Zekry’s axis in Alexandria, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, that the private sector is an essential partner in the development process, as the state has strengthened the role of the private sector, through some recent decisions such as regulating state ownership and partnership with the private sector and activating some articles of the investment law in addition to the golden license, as well as transforming the Suez Canal area into a global logistics center.
The minister stressed that the Decent Life Program represents the localization of the concept of sustainable development, indicating that there is an improvement in the level of services by 60%, and it has also reached from 30% to 90% in most services.
