Egypt has introduced many initiatives, programs, and strategic projects in the health sector. Among the most important initiatives launched by the Egyptian state are; The “Eradicate Hepatitis C” initiative, which resulted in the examination of 70 million citizens and the treatment of 2.2 million infected with hepatitis C, with a cure rate of more than 95%.
