The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) said on Saturday that more than 23,300 war crimes have been committed by the Russian army in Ukraine since the start of the Russian military operation last February.
In a statement, the office added that the Russian army had specifically committed 23,370 crimes, including violations of the war's laws and customs, as well as planning, preparing or waging a war, war propaganda, and other crimes.
Moreover, the statement also noted that the Ukrainian law enforcement forces also recorded 11,270 crimes against Ukraine's national security, including crimes related to the encroachment on the integrity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The statement stressed that the suspects in the main cases of Russian aggression are 624 representatives of Russia's military-political leadership, including ministers, legislators, military command and other officials, heads of law enforcement agencies, war instigators, and Kremlin promoters.
