Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez celebrated a major milestone for Vinícius Júnior after the Brazilian star reached 150 wins with the club, following Los Blancos’ emphatic 5–1 victory over Real Betis on Sunday night at the Santiago Bernabéu, in Matchday 18 of the Spanish La Liga season.
Although Vinícius did not get on the scoresheet, he delivered an impressive all-round performance in a match dominated by young forward Gonzalo García, who stole the spotlight with a brilliant hat-trick.
His goals proved decisive as Real Madrid cruised to victory despite the absence of Kylian Mbappé.
After the final whistle, Florentino Pérez marked Vinícius Jr.’s achievement by presenting him with a special Real Madrid shirt printed with the number “150,” in recognition of the Brazilian winger’s remarkable number of victories in the famous white jersey.
With the win, Real Madrid remain second in the La Liga table with 45 points, trailing leaders Barcelona by four points. Real Betis, meanwhile, sit sixth with 28 points after the heavy defeat in Madrid.
The convincing performance further underlined Real Madrid’s strong form as they continue to challenge for the league title, while Vinícius Jr.’s milestone highlighted his growing legacy at the Bernabéu.
