Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al Maliki discussed several regional issues including the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday.
Moreover, both ministers examined the ways of coordination to compete against COVID-19 and the Russian support to Palestine to resist against the pandemic.
During the press conference of both officials, Lavrov asserted that they disuccsed the means of deepening the Russian medical support to the Arabic state amid the rise of COVID-19 infections.
He added that Russia committed to holding an official meeting for reviewing several mutual long-term projects between the two countries.
Regarding the Palestinian crisis with Israel, Lavrov expressed his country's concerns over the absence of peace talks between Palestine and Israel.
On his side, Al Maliki hoped to continue the mutual coordination with Russia in the light of the COVID-19 outbreak especially after providing Palestine with vaccine doses.
