Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Egypt on Sunday for an official visit at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, according to a statement issued by the Palestinian embassy in Cairo.
President Abbas was received at the presidential lounge at Cairo International Airport by Egyptian Minister of Justice Counselor Omar Marwan, Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab al-Louw, staff of the Palestinian embassy, the Palestinian delegation to the Arab League, and the General Consulate of Palestine in Alexandria.
Abbas is accimpained by Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and Majed Fraj, Director of the General Intelligence Service, according to The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
