A Palestinian official in the Islamic resistance factions revealed that some Israeli army forces have been cooperating with the resistance factions for a long time.
The Iranian "Tasnim" agency quoted the unnamed Palestinian official as saying, "This information was used in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood to infiltrate forces into the settlements, especially the military bases in the Gaza envelope," stressing that "this cooperation is not limited only to intelligence issues."
He added, "For a long time, the Palestinians have been securing a large part of their equipment from soldiers and the structure of the Israeli army."
According to the Tasnim news agency, several reports have long been published in Hebrew-language sources about the importance of imposing more protection in the army. For example, the issue of the spread of addiction among soldiers was discussed and it was said that a number of them surrendered themselves to the Palestinians in exchange for money or drugs.
