Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a forceful rebuke of recent comments made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling them as incitements rooted in hatred and conducive to violence.

The Ministry cautioned that such inflammatory rhetoric could seriously endanger peace and stability in the region.

In a strongly worded statement, the Pakistani government characterized the Indian Prime Minister’s remarks as alarming and inappropriate for the leader of a nuclear-armed nation. It accused him of disregarding key principles of the United Nations Charter, especially those concerning the peaceful resolution of disputes and respect for national sovereignty.

“These statements represent a dangerous provocation and serve as a diversion from India’s ongoing human rights violations and demographic manipulation in the occupied region of Jammu and Kashmir,” the Ministry asserted.

Pakistan also took aim at India’s domestic policies, pointing to what it called a rising wave of extremism, majoritarian dominance, and the marginalization of minority communities under the ideology of Hindutva.

While reiterating its commitment to peace based on sovereign equality and mutual respect, Pakistan warned that it would respond decisively to any threat to its territorial integrity, invoking its right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

The Ministry concluded by urging the international community to take serious note of what it described as India’s increasingly provocative discourse, warning that unchecked escalation could jeopardize efforts to secure lasting peace in South Asia.
