Early Wednesday, Hurricane Otis reached Mexico's southern coast. The hurricane is a 4-category one with strong winds that hitting the beachs of Acapulco, according to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC).
The hurricane.was downgraded from Category 5 to 4 before reaching Acapulco and it is directing into Southern Mexico.
Heavy rainfall, floods, and strong winds were brought by the Hurricane Otis.
According to NHC, the hurricane could bring up to more than 50 cm of rain, in addition, the possibility of floods and mudslides is high. The authorities added that those impact could be life-threatening and catastrophic.
