Mrs. Aisha agrees to bury our master Omar bin Al-Khattab instead of her next to the grave of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace

Al-Tabari narrated (3/422) with his chain of transmission on the authority of Omar bin Abdullah that he heard Urwa and Al-Qasim bin Muhammad say: Abu Bakr advised Aisha to be buried next to the Prophet May God bless him and grant him peace. When he died, a dig was dug for him, and his head was placed on the shoulders of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. ".

As for Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, he sought this from Aisha, and he was concerned about that for fear that she would not give permission.

Al-Bukhari (3700) narrated on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab that he commanded his son Abdullah while he was on his deathbed after he was stabbed:

(Go to Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, and say: Omar’s greetings of peace will be recited to you, and do not say, “Commander of the Believers,” for today I am not a leader of the believers Omar ibn al-Khattab asked permission to be buried with his two companions, so he greeted and asked for permission, then he entered and found her sitting and crying, and said: Omar b n Al-Khattab, peace be upon him, and he asks permission to be buried with his two companions. She said: I wanted him for myself, and to prefer him today over myself.

When he came, it was said: This is Abdullah bin Omar who has come! He said, “Lift me up.” A man supported him to him, and he said: “What do you have?” He said: The one you love, O Commander of the Faithful! She gave permission.

He said: Praise be to God, there is nothing more important to me than that.
