On the margin of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers taking place on 21-22 June 2025, in Istanbul, Republic of Turkiye, Ambassador Tarig Ali Bakheet, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Social and Cultural Affairs of the OIC, and Mr Othman Belbeisi, Regional Director for Middle-East and North Africa of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Special Representative of IOM to the OIC, signed a Plan of Action (PoA).
The PoA will serve as an implementation tool of the existing Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two Institutions in 2003.
