Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel said that resolving the Palestinian cause and alleviating the Palestinian people's suffering are among the main constants of the Kingdom's policy.
This came during the interactive dialogue hosted yesterday by the Human Rights Council in Geneva with Michael Lynk, U.N. special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Moreover, Al-Wasel affirmed that Saudi Arabia will continue to back the Palestinian cause at all levels.
He also underlined the need to implement the UN recommendations, and to work hard to curb 'these systematic and continuous violations.'
"The world is facing great challenges due to Covid-19 pandemic repercussions, yet the Palestinian people continue to suffer from the occupation in addition to their suffering due to this pandemic," Al-Wasel noted.
