The Director of the French General Department for Armament Affairs, Emmanuel Kiva, announced that France has entered the "war economy" phase that French President Emmanuel Macron spoke of last year.
"We have entered this war economy," Kiva said in an interview with "Le Monde" newspaper, in response to a question about President Macron's call for the French military-industrial complex to move to the "war economy" model.
He added that the activity of 5 task forces had been launched, which had yielded certain results with regard to strategic stocks, reducing deadlines, and increasing production indicators for military industries.
And the French media reported last November that French President Emmanuel Macron might present a new national strategy, which would include preparation for a possible military conflict and items related to nuclear deterrence and the development of military industries.
