The New York (NY) Department of Emergency released a video containing instructions on the behavior of citizens in the event of a nuclear strike on the city.
According to Russia Today, the instructions recommend hiding inside any building and staying away from windows and doors, then getting rid of clothes that may have been exposed to radiation and showering.
After that, citizens, according to the instructions in the video, have to wait for the subsequent instructions that will be sent to mobile phones or published through the media.
"The probability of any accidents with nuclear weapons in or near New York is extremely low, but it is important that New Yorkers should know what steps they need to take to ensure security," the statement released by the emergency department noted.
