Young American billionaire Ankur Jain celebrated his wedding to fashion model Erica Hammond, in a huge ceremony in Mother of the World, Egypt.
Business Today newspaper said that the wedding celebrations began with the couple heading to a 3-day safari in South Africa that cost about two thousand dollars per night. They then headed to Egypt by private plane and celebrated with their 130 guests who came specifically for the wedding on the fourth day.
Jain, founder of the technology company Belt Rewards, told the guests: Celebrating in Egypt is a very special thing, so we decided to have our wedding in a place that is in a different world.
He added that this is an experience that occurs only once in a lifetime.
Jen, 33, and Erica, 32, met when the businessman started working out at a gym founded by Erica, who was a fitness trainer.
Jain said that his first wedding proposal was to consummate the marriage in space. But the plan was changed by going to a safari party for 3 days in South Africa, then heading to Egypt by private plane and celebrating on the fourth day with their guests.
The celebration in Egypt began with a late lunch and a reception bearing the character of modern Cairo at Muhammad Ali’s Palace, after the couple arranged a completely private tour of the pyramids and the Sphinx, followed by a dinner party at the Grand Museum, which has not yet opened.
