A Norwegian parliamentarian proposed the nomination of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition for his role against Russia in the war in Ukraine.
"Stoltenberg deserves the award for his outstanding work as NATO Secretary General at a difficult time for the alliance: the brutal and unprovoked attack against a peaceful neighbour," Typring posted on "Facebook".
He added that the former Norwegian prime minister and head of NATO realized from the first moments the seriousness and importance of the Russian aggression against all countries that base their governing set on democracy and liberal freedoms.
