Pakistani authorities reported that nine people were killed and two others were injured when a three-story residential building collapsed in the center of the country.
Rescue officials said - according to the news website of the Pakistani (ARI News) network - on Tuesday that the rubble of the collapsed building fell on neighboring houses in the city of Multan in the Punjab province, noting that among the dead were four people from one family.
For his part, the district emergency official pointed out that a residential building located in the Haram Gate area in Multan collapsed, killing at least 10 people under the rubble, and the debris of the building fell on neighboring homes.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene after being informed, and recovered the bodies of nine people from under the rubble, while two injured people were recovered.
