Nile Univ. Holds 3rd International Workshop in Bioinformatics

Nile National University will hold the third international workshop in the field of bioinformatics in cooperation with other international universities, tomorrow Sunday at the headquarters of the University in Sheikh Zayed.

The speakers at the workshop are several international university professors: Dr. Rosina Savisar, the University of Bath in Britain; visiting professor at Nile University; Dr. Mohamed Hamed, Rostock University in Germany; visiting professor at Nile University; Dr. Ahmed Mohamed, Queen land University in Australia; Dr. Amr Al-Hussari, from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore; and Ahmed Ali at the European Bioinformatics Institute in the United Kingdom.

The workshop includes a presentation of various researches carried out by members of the bioinformatics research team from the Nile University Masters students locally and in cooperation with other universities such as the University California Davis, USA; and the Nuclear Energy Center of Belgium.

During the third workshop, there will be presentation of new programs of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the University of the Nile, such as biomedical information program for the bachelor's degree and the diploma of bioinformatics.
