Lebanese superstar, Nicole Saba opened up on Thursday about the reason behind her disappearance from the entertainment scene and the difficult time she went through in the past year.
In an interview with "The Insider Arabia", Saba disclosed that became depressed after the death of her business manager Wael El-Masry, whom she had worked with for 13 years and was like a brother to her.

She also noted that the Beirut port explosion and the deteriorating economic conditions had depressed her.
The 46-year-old emphasized that she had gone through a difficult period that deeply impacted her and caused her to step away from the artistic scene, but now she is improving and preparing for a strong comeback.

The superstar announced that she is preparing to present several songs to her fans, the first of which is the music video "Hafla Farkasha", which will be directed by Fadi Haddad and produced by Lifestylez Studios.
Saba also announced that she is set to perform her first-ever Iraqi dialect song.
