CAIRO, Jan. 20 (SEE) - New Giza University (NGU) hold, in collaboration
with the Egyptian Orthopedic Association, the first scientific day of
orthopedic surgery on Saturday in the presence of seven French experts.
In statements to SEE, NGU President Dr. Ahmed Sameh Farid said that the
event included a raft of orthopedic surgeons from Egyptian universities and
hospitals, pointing out that it represents a great opportunity to exchange
expertise in this field.
"The meeting discussed the
latest methods in orthopedic surgery and other diseases such as bone and joint
diseases, the role of some drugs in reducing the pathophysiological development
of the disease, pain relief, and other surgeries," Farid stated.
