The authorities in the city of Gisborne, northeast of New Zealand, announced the evacuation of the city's airport, after receiving a bomb threat, leading to the delay of a number of flights.
The bomb threat led to the closure of the airport, but after the police combed the site without finding any bomb, the airport was reopened to passengers and air traffic.
"We've just received the all-clear to resume airport operations. There will be delays to flights so please check with Air NZ. Thanks again to everyone for your help and understanding," the airport wrote on its Facebook page.
