Additionally, some internet sources have mentioned that WhatsApp developers are working on a new feature aimed at reducing unwanted notifications. This feature will automatically delete non-essential notifications, improving the user experience.

WABetaInfo also noted that WhatsApp will introduce a new feature called "People Nearby," which will allow users to share files without needing an internet connection.
