On Sunday, New Valley Governor Mohammed Al Zamlout announced the establishment of a new administrative capital in Al Kharga City.
The new administrative capital will be the new center for the headquarters for the ministries' offices in the governorate .
Al Zamlout added that the new city will be a green one, and it will implemented on an area of 101 acres. It will include the headquarters of governmental offices, banks, courts, and an Egypt Post.
The governor added that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will soon open the biggest general hospital in Al Dakhla.
He also referred to the Al Tahan project which includes various activities like dates industries, fish farming, and the upbringing of domestic silk moths.
