After the war cabinet meeting and feeling pain from underneath him, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the occupation of Israel, underwent hernia surgery late Sunday.
The doctors gave him complete anesthesia, and this was done at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in occupied Jerusalem.
"He is awake, recovering and talking to his family," said Alon Pekarski, director of general surgery at the hospital.
Netanyahu's office said: The hernia was discovered during an examination two days ago.
Last year, Netanyahu was forced to be hospitalized due to the dehydration he suffered and an irregular heartbeat, and he underwent surgery to install a pacemaker.
This month, Netanyahu contracted the flu, and some said at the time that he was infected with the Coronavirus.
