The National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW) held its seventh meeting in a series of upcoming meetings to determine the priorities of how to strengthen the social protection umbrella.
The National Alliance condemned, during its meeting Sunday, the brutal terrorist incident that targeted a water-raising station in western Sinai, on Saturday, which resulted in the death of an officer and 10 soldiers and the injury of 5 other soldiers.
In the agenda of its meeting, the Alliance discussed ways to enhance social protection, and its members also agreed to launch the second phase of Wasl Al Khair II in the middle of this month on May 15, 2022.
Accordingly, and in order to ensure that support reaches its beneficiaries among the citizens in need and those most affected by the critical global economic situation, the National Alliance has begun to develop an integrated plan aimed at supporting the social protection umbrella from its date until the end of this year, by maximizing the benefit from the monetary support provided by the Egyptian state to the Alliance estimated at LE 9 billion.
