The graduates of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership announced the start of the series of introductory sessions for the fellowship, which started its first sessions in Arabic on Sunday, April 2.
The sessions were attended by many Afro-Arab countries, including Morocco, Algeria, Yemen, Libya, Palestine and Egypt.

It is scheduled the sessions will last for two weeks in English and Arabic, French, Swahili, and Spanish coordinated by Eng. Egyptian Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy stated that the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership is receiving intense attention from the political leadership which qualifies it to gain the auspices of President Abdelfattah el-Sisi for the third time in a row .
The scholarship targets influential youth leaders in various fields from all continents of the world. Noting that the grant provides participants with an opportunity to meet with many decision-makers and diplomats, As well as organize many field visits to a number of the country's most prominent and important national institutions to learn closely about the policies of the Egyptian state and its pioneering experience in empowering young people, its fourth edition is scheduled for June 2023.
For his part, anthropologist Hassan Ghazaly, founder and general coordinator of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, praised the influential role played by the introductory sessions independently and decentralized, organized by Nasser Fellowship graduates and members of the Nasser Youth Movement at this time annually, pointing to their keenness on cultural diversity, diversity of participating nationalities and continents, and even the gender diversity for speakers at every session.
The sessions aim also to create wide spaces of discussion, inquiries, and dialogue between young people from different countries of the world and various fields and societal segments between executive leaders and Youth leaders in civil society, academics, media professionals, and others, stressing that the sessions are a real opportunity to get to know the fellowship closely through youth leaders who lived the experience and monitored its impact.
The Libyan activist, Eng. Al-Zubair Al-Barki, General Coordinator of the introductory sessions of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, said that these sessions are an independent initiative of fellowship graduates from the previous batches and come in recognition of the difference made by the fellowship in their career paths and the desire of graduates to share the details of the precious and valuable experience - as he mentioned- with their peers wishing to participate in the next editions to maximize their benefits from Nasser Fellowship, pointing to the strong and fruitful networking opportunities that resulted from the past editions among young graduates, which are increasing significantly annually, stressing the prominent role For the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership under the auspices of the Egyptian presidency in enhancing the role and voice of youth in decision-making, whether at the national, regional or international levels.
