Producer Ahmed El Sobky stated Sunday that he had contracted with Riham Abdel Ghafour, Naglaa Badr, and Mahmoud Hafez to star in film “Leilet El Eid” (eid night), starring veteran actress Yousra.
The plot centers around 6 female lead actresses, who each have their own story that takes place on the night of eid and the day before it.
“Leilet El Eid” is directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz and written by Ahmed Abdullah, and produced by Ahmed El-Sobky.
The shooting date is yet to be determined.
On the other hand, Badr has recently joined a new film entitled "The Court" starring Mahmoud Abdel Moghny.
The actress is currently shooting her new filming TV series “Nasl Al-Agrab”.
The series also stars Ahmed El Sakka and Amir Karara began, Tuesday, which is set to be premiered in Ramadan 2021.
It is directed and written by Mohamed Sami, and produced by Synergy Production Company.
“Nasl Al-Agrab”, which takes place in Upper Egypt, is one of the largest drama productions in Ramadan 2021.
It features many stars including, Mai Omar, Diab, Firdous Abdel Hamid, Naglaa Badr, Edward, Ahmed Malek, Ahmed Dash, Ahmed Fahim, Injy El Mokkaddem, Mohamed Mahran, and others.
The series marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Karara in a drama, as they presented together more than one cinematic production.
Badr participated last Ramadan with TV series “Al Fetewa”, which achieved great success during its premiere.
The series also stars Mai Omar, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Diab, Ahmed Khalil, Ryad El Kholy, Mohamed Ragab, Mahmoud Hafez, Naglaa Badr, Aaidah Riyadh, Farida Saif Al-Nasr, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Hanady Muhanna, Layla Ahmed Zaher, and others.
“Al Fetewa” is written by Hani Sarhan, directed by Hussein El Menbawy, and produced by Synergy Production Company.
The actress will be seen soon in TV series “Loloa” (pearl), starring Mai Omar.
The series, produced by Synergy Company, consists of 40 episodes and marks Omar's first lead role in a TV series.
It also stars Ahmed Zaher, Nermin El Feki, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Edward, Heidy Karam, Salwa Othman, Emad Ziada, Hamdy Heikal, and others.
