'NACDW' Law Before The Parliament

The House of Representatives begins discussing the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work (NACDW) Law, that wonderful initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the Egyptian family’s Iftar last year through establishing the alliance to bring together all civil institutions and organizations under one umbrella. The alliance contains 250,000 volunteers. They roam all over Egypt according to a comprehensive database that collects all those who deserve good and reaches them everywhere.. without focusing on particular places or forgetting other places. 

The alliance, launched in March 2022, includes the largest civil work institutions in Egypt and undertakes strong initiatives, and because of these sincere efforts, good has reached all parts of Egypt .. material aids, construction, development, medical convoys, and artistic and cultural festivals for children You brought joy to the hearts of our people in remote villages. 

Thank you, Mr. President and the youth of my country, thanks to you, the coalition has become an extension of civil work in Egypt with its long history since the era of the ancient Pharaohs, and more than 200 years ago in modern history when Princess Fatima donated her palace to be turned into the University of Cairo, to become a scientific and intellectual beacon.

In my opinion, the wonderful initiative of President El-Sisi caused a great movement and a strong shift in civil work in Egypt, an idea that reflects his keenness to improve the life of every Egyptian citizen and his keenness to attend the activities and conferences of the alliance in addition to his visits to the villages of Egypt from east to west, whether Upper Egypt or Lower Egypt and honoring volunteers and owners of charitable organizations, members of the alliance, and those with special talents and abilities. 

I believe that this draft law was formulated with high professionalism and great balance in order to organize work, consolidate the benefit from the alliance and ways to join or withdraw from it, and ensure complete freedom for institutions under its umbrella.

I think that one of the most important articles of the law is that it guarantees the continuity of the project by providing revernues for it, as it stipulates that the alliance is allowed to establish or contribute to the establishment of companies and charitable investment funds related to its objectives, provided that the profits and revenues of their investments are distributed  on its activities. What is required from this law is to preserve this alliance, support its members and volunteers, and ensures a decent life for the Egyptians who benefit from it.
