On Tuesday, North Korea unveiled designs for a new stamp featuring the daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, known as Ju A, for the first time.
The stamp designs uploaded on the website of the North's Korea Stamp Corporation show images of the North Korean leader and his daughter attending a test launch of the Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in November last year.
It was the first time North Korea had released stamp designs depicting Ju-a, Kim Jong-un's apparent second child since she was first exposed to the public last year.
Of the eight stamps, five designs contained Ju-A's public appearance, including her walking with Kim hand-in-hand in front of a rocket on a moving launch pad and posing for a photo with the troops.
The website said the stamps will be issued on Friday.
Ju-ae, who is believed to be about 10 years old, attended a military parade last week to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of North Korea's military, sparking speculation that she could be Kim's successor.
North Korean state media recently began calling Kim's "respected" daughter from the "beloved" or "the most beloved" one, in a possible indication of an elevation in her profile.
Observers stated that it is too early to judge that she has been appointed successor, but North Korea appears to be demonstrating its legitimacy as a descendant of the "Paektu dynasty" of the Kim dynasty.
