Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and the owner of the X platform, called on Western countries to cease sacrificing the lives of young Ukrainians in the conflict and instead focus on finding a peaceful resolution and restoring normal relations with Moscow.

In his social media message, Musk questioned the current situation, saying that many Ukrainians are being sacrificed in the trenches for essentially no territorial gains.

He stressed the urgent need to establish peace in Ukraine and to rebuild diplomatic ties with Russia.

Musk also highlighted the broader risks associated with the prolonged conflict between Russia and Ukraine, particularly in terms of global geopolitics.

He expressed his fear that the continuation of the conflict could escalate tensions on a civilizational level and even increase the risk of a catastrophic World War III.

The Ukrainian conflict has seen repeated unsuccessful offensives by the Ukrainian army since June 4. Russian President Vladimir Putin reported on October 5 that Ukraine had suffered significant losses, with over 90,000 servicemen and more than 550 tanks lost in just four months.

Furthermore, on October 15, Putin declared that the Ukrainian counteroffensive had utterly failed, even though Kiev was planning new active offensive operations in certain areas along the front lines.
