The grand Mufti of Uzbekistan, Sheikh Nuriddin KHALIKNAZAR,C Th chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan;The member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars; and the member of the Muslim Council of Elders said that Ramadan is a great gift and blessing of Allah Almighty for Muslims!
"We praise and thank Allah jalla wa ‘ala for giving us the opportunity to reach the month of Ramadan and to perform deeds such as fasting, almsgiving, fulfilling Taraweeh prayer and reciting the Holy Quran. May peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon us!" He added.
Allah Almighty says: “This is truly the ultimate triumph. For such ˹honor˺ all should strive”.
The mufti noted that Allah blessed the ummah of the Rasulullah sollallahu alaihi wasallam with two of the celebratory holy days of the year: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
"Eid al-Fitr is one of the greatest and most long-awaited holidays, which marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting."
" We, Muslims, celebrate Eid al-Fitr together with our parents, loved ones, brothers, neighbors. On this auspicious day, we visit each other and strive to bring joy to the hearts of others."
He congratulated the Muslims saying:" Dear Muslims, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. May Allah Almighty accept our fasts, prayers, almsgivings and all the good deeds performed in the holy month of Ramadan and reward us for this many times over! I pray to Allah to grant us all strong health so that we can reach the next holiday by maintaining purity in our soul."
" May Allah bless us all with peace, prosperity, success and happiness!"
