On Sunday, Egyptian Squash player Mostafa Asal keeps his name as #1 in the international rating for the third week in a row, despite his early elimination of New York's Tournament of Champions (ToC).
Asal was eliminated from the tournament due to an injury.
However, he managed to keep his rating due to the defeat of Paull Coll, and the elimination of Mohamed El Shorbagy and Ali Farag. Farag withdrew due to an injury.
Asal is the youngest Egyptian squash player to who headed the list, and the third younger player in the history of the game who reached first place on the list.
