Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita said, Tuesday evening, that the new session within the second round of the Libyan dialogue in the Moroccan city of Bouznika witnessed a successful dialogue between the Libyan parties.
Bourita added that the two parties participating in the Libyan dialogue had reached understandings on the distribution of sovereign positions, and he also stressed that "the Libyans are able to solve their problems without any foreign interference."
"One of the factors that helped the dialogue's success in Bouznika is that the dialogue is a pure Libyan one as it is developed, chosen and led by Libyans, without any foreign influence or interference, which helped Libyans to communicate and understand each other," Bourita said.
"What we feel is that this dialogue has a positive and long breath that will not be hindered easily, and there is determination to overcome all obstacles that may appear," he added.
Morocco's Foreign Minister also stressed his country's positive role in the talks, noting that Rabat is keen on Libya's stability.
"Morocco's position is not only neutral, but rather a constructive one to help the Libyans to overcome obstacles and disaccords," he said.
On his part, a member of the Libyan Parliament, Idris Omran, confirmed that all agreements reached by Libyan parties in their recent meetings in Bouznika, will be presented to the Libyan Parliament and Libya's Supreme Council of State.
Omran affirmed that "the second round of the Libyan dialogue has reached understandings and agreements on the criteria for selecting the sovereign positions and posts."
The new session within the second round of the Libyan dialogue was launched in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, in order to put an end to the political tension that the country has been witnessing for years.
