On Thursday, the 83-year-old Oscar winner actor Morgan Freeman recalled his global Story of Gold journey and his travel to Egypt with Egyptologist Salima Ikram.
"On my global Story of Gold journey I wanted to know how the after-life first became part of religion," Freeman wrote on Twitter. "So I went to Egypt with Egyptologist, Salima Ikram to the place where the first great monuments to the afterlife still stand."

On the other hand, Freeman called on everyone to "help make our world a safe place for us to enjoy ourselves again" by getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Moreover, he partnered with The Creative Coalition, a nonprofit, arts advocacy group, for a public service announcement on getting vaccinated. His message was: "If you trust me, you'll get the vaccine."
"I'm not a doctor, but I trust science. And I'm told that, for some reason, people trust me," the actor said in the video. "So here I am to say I trust science and I got the vaccine."
