More than 1,000 flights were cancelled in US due to a severe snowstorm in the center of the country, which led to heavy rain.
According to the "FlightAware" application to track air traffic, a total of 1,303 flights were canceled and 118 flights were delayed.
Pats of Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan saw snow and rainfall on Wednesday morning, the Associated Press reported.
The New York Times reported that Missouri Governor and Oklahoma Governor declared a state of emergency ahead of the storm.
